About the author? I find that writing about myself is a rather strange thing to do, which is, of course, perfectly natural because I happen to be a rather strange person. I once made a single delicious cheese but didn't eat it.

See? I told you so. Strange.

When not making delicious cheeses and not eating them, I can generally be found doing one of the following: writing, editing, trying to write, trying to edit, or quite possibly researching something to both write about and edit.

There's also a bit of sailing, woodworking, motorcycle-riding, and maybe even some boat-building going on. I suppose I should mention
The Budge-Nuzzard as well but that's far too strange to get into here, I assure you.

I've been known to contribute to
The Rabbit Room from time to time when not writing and/or editing The Fiddler's Gun, its sequel Fiddler's Green, or any one of a number of other books that are presently somewhat less than finished. (If you must know, the number, specifically, is two.)

Should you wish to be further frightened, astounded, or confused,
feel free to ask and I shall do my best to accommodate.

Thank you,

A.S. "Pete" Peterson
